why all this fraud????
John Wilson has been committing fraud against seniors since he started his business about 10 years ago...before John started his business he worked as a sales rep for Premier care Bathing....they went out of business because they couldn't keep up with the service calls due to poor quality products and poor installations. His current installer Pierre Robert was installing for Premier care as well.
When they started this business they were making claims about their Chinese manufactured tubs that they purchase from Safety Bath and promoting them as being manufactured in Canada. To this day Safety Bath still makes those claims....see screenshots below...
John had been approached by the Better business Bureau to remove these false claims from his website and online ads as to which he did, but only for a while, he then went ahead and posted them again.
Seniors are the most vulnerable consumers out there and don't deserve to be taken advantage of.
John Wilson is guilty of using high pressure tactics ( coercion against seniors is illegal) and he only stopped when exposed online for doing so.
He is guilty of having made false claims about where their tubs are made and manufactured but stopped once he was exposed online.
He is guilty of infringement as well, using other walk in tub companies pictures to promote his business which goes against rules where you can find on the Competition Bureaus website as you can only use pictures of products you sell or have sold.
He is guilty of cutting down all competitors products but has no proof to present whatsoever of these claims he's made. And what does he know about competitors products? nothing as he's never worked with them and probably never even seen them, otherwise he would have pictures of the competitors ( problematic tubs )!!
He is mostly guilty of impersonating competitor Walk in Tub Ottawa and has used their trade name on his website and in many ads online as well as in a domain name that redirects to his website ...screenshots and videos below. If Walk in Tubs Ontario's products and if these guys are so good, why do they need to do this???
And why would they support Safety Bath knowing they make false claims about being a manufacture. And if Walk in Tubs Ontario is so good, then why don't they buy direct from the factory instead of buying from a wholesaler ????
Note Walk in Tubs Ontario has little to no inventory, not even their own showroom, no shop and only 1 tub on display in someone else's location and worse not even their own workspace. Simply runs this side line business from his condo.
Some of their reviews on google look fake as well.
There's nothing this man won't say or do to mislead seniors obviously. Many seniors are aware of this but will not complain, why ? Well typically when seniors are shopping for a walk in tub it's due to mobility and health issues and do not have the energy to fight or complain to the proper authorities and many seniors are afraid as well and don't want any trouble. Can you blame them?
Of course as before when John Wilson was exposed publicly he changed his info his ads and website and will likely make more changes when he sees this website but the screenshots and videos aren't lies or generated by Artificial Intelligence either.
